About Annie 

Hi there! My name is Annie Sicherman, and I am an art educator with 15 years of experience teaching in both public and private schools across NYC. I currently serve as the Art Department Team Leader at the Bank Street School for Children. I specialize in one-on-one, in-home art instruction for middle and high school students, offering tailored lessons in realistic drawing, cartooning, comic book creation, composition, the elements of art, and the principles of design. In addition, I have helped countless students successfully prepare portfolios for specialized arts high schools across the city, many of whom gained acceptance. With a deep understanding of the portfolio requirements and expectations, I guide students in creating outstanding pieces while building their artistic skills and confidence.
